Someone in my Tuesday Morning Quilt group issued a challenge. We each got a block - same star, different fabrics - and could do whatever we wanted, minimum size 24x24. This was a real learning experience for me - making the templates, choosing fabric, designing my quilt. The piecing and quilting was the least of it. I didn't finish in time for the challenge due date and was in Italy when all were shared, but I'm pleased with the result. It's for a table (to put a vase on) or a hanging.
